VS3D | Spinal and Posture Correction Structure

Project Brief.

The idea of the design is a closed cycle that begins with defining the clients’ physical dimension, by utilizing a 3D scanning machine, to generate the needed digital data. Then defining the points needs to be under correction forces, which allows running the topology optimization process to minimize the weight of the structure. Finally, using the appropriate 3D printing machine to manufacture the vest.

The project has been awarded by the Cairo Design Award, for more information see here.
