Construction Update | HivE

We are glad to present the latest updates concerning our project “HivE.” The project consists of an 80 sq m free-form façade that is designed and constructed as one element. The façade contains 134 3D-printed aluminum nodes “N-AM_Li3” that are powder coated.

The Node “N-AM_Li3“presents the new generation of free-form connections. It adapts to any kind of façade profile and can be easily integrated into any type of construction. The utilization of topology optimization and additive manufacturing allows achieving a sustainable methodology to such complex structures.

The construction was planned following the Li3_Method that has been developed by our Founder Dr.-Ing Alamir Mohsen, and utilizing our internally developed software Li3M. The whole façade could be erected in less than eight hours, which proves the feasibility of our Li3_Mehtod and Li3M software. Both aim to reduce construction costs globally considering automated planning, easy assembly (Lego Like), and short logistics routes.
